In the event that an elevator stops with passengers in it, remember to remain calm. Pressing any emergency button within the cab will alert building security that the cab is malfunctioning, what cab number it is, and what floor it is stuck on. The Guard will continue two-way communication with passengers until help arrives.
In the event of a power outage, elevators will continue to operate using our emergency power generator. Should an outage occur, elevator lights will remain on, but the car will temporarily stop. Each elevator will automatically return to the lobby where the doors will open and they will then be out of service.
Please remember to call the Management Office if you notice any abnormal elevator behavior so that Management Office can contact elevator maintenance.
IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE, ELEVATORS MUST NOT BE USED FOR EVACUATION AND WILL NOT OPERATE. EVACUATION MUST OCCUR VIA THE STAIRS.
