Floor Loads

Building requirements prohibit placing loads upon floors that exceed 80 pounds live load per square foot in office areas. Should a tenant/vendor find it necessary to utilize equipment that exceeds this rating, the tenant/vendor must receive prior written approval from the Management Office. Adequate documentation from a licensed structural engineer is required verifying that such an installation at a specific location is safe. The architect and the General Manager of the Building will review the Tenant’s request and accompanying documentation. When the Management Office receives confirmation that the installation is safe, they will send the tenant written approval.
